Assault with a deadly weapon: On Sept. 23 at around 11:44 a.m., officers were dispatched to the area of W. Woodland Avenue for a hit-and-run vehicle collision. Upon arrival, officers located a male who was the victim of a hit-and-run which was determined to have been an intentional act. The victim did not sustain visible injury. The suspect was identified and later taken into custody. Kristy Bracy, a 45-year-old Woodland resident was arrested and transported to the Yolo County Jail for assault with a deadly weapon.
DUI arrest: On Sept. 24 at 6:38 p.m., officers observed a blue Dodge Charger speeding in the area of Court Street and East Street. Officers conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle in the 1200 Block of E. Main Street. The driver, 28-year-old Woodland resident Eder Carrillo was evaluated and determined to be driving under the influence. Carrillo was arrested and booked into the Yolo County Jail.
HOST
HOST coordinated efforts to clean the railway that parallels East Street between Kentucky Avenue and Gibson Avenue. HOST contacted 43 individuals, offered services to 19 and only two accepted services.
HOST posted 17 camps and cleaned nine locations. 13 downtown patrols were completed.
