One of Applebee's taglines is, "There's no place like the neighborhood." Now the restaurant chain wants to salute the neighborhood's nurses and teachers.
In honor of National Nurses Day on Saturday and Teacher Appreciation Week (Saturday through May 12), Applebee's locations owned and operated by Flynn Restaurant Group in the greater San Francisco area -- including Vallejo -- will offer a free appetizer (up to $12 value, up to $15 value at Applebee's of Fisherman's Wharf) with any entrée purchase to dining nurses and teachers for the next two weeks.
This offer is available in dine in only starting Monday and running through May 13. Teachers and nurses must have proof of a valid work badge.
Participating Applebee's restaurants in Northern California include Vallejo's venue at 1041 Admiral Callaghan Lane. Other restaurants include ones in Alameda, Antioch, Auburn, Cameron Park, Citrus Heights, Dublin, Elk Grove, Fairfield, Fremont, Hayward, Lodi, Napa, Petaluma, Pinole, Rocklin, Rohnert Park, Sacramento, San Francisco, Santa Rosa, South Lake Tahoe, Stockton, Windsor, Woodland and Yuba City.
