One of Wayne's transplant meds is never at the pharmacy. They have to "get it in" and they've put him on this stupid "sync" thing and they are totally out of sync. Yesterday his kidney docs called with a med change, an increase in the very drug they pharmacy never has and hasn't bothered to deliver in over a month so it's a good thing I had some put back for emergency from past med changes. Med changes can occur after labs and often does which means I have to weed through a week's worth of three times daily meds to make the changes and for someone who hasn't taken anything but a Goody powder this has been a learning experience. I'm not a pharmacist but I play one at home. I can recognize the meds by sight now. Anyway, the I called Cannon Pharmacy on South Cannon Blvd to make sure they would have it on hand and the little twirp on the phone said a new prescription would have to be sent in since the dosage changed and in the meantime another drug which was stopped months ago and that I put on hold at the pharmacy was on it's way and why? Even on the label it says "HOLD". I hate this pharmacy so much. They don't deliver his meds until we are out. They don't try to contact the docs when there's no more refills I have to do that. They say they called but couldn't get anyone. They would let him die, which he would do if he didn't get these transplant meds. Friends don't let friends use Cannon Pharmacy on South Cannon Blvd. I want to change but Wayne says it is too many meds to do that so we'll stick with them until I go to jail lol. Rant over. Have a nice day.
