Celebrate Dictionary Day on October 16th with a few wonderfully wild words. How many of these words below do you already know? 🌧️ Petrichor — the earthy smell after rain 🏔️ Alpenglow — the rosy glow on mountains near sunrise or sunset 🐢 Brumation — a reptile’s period of winter inactivity 🐦 Murmuration — a large flock of birds moving together in the sky Alpenglow is my favorite of these four words. Emma really likes brumation. ;) Which of these four words is your favorite? Click here to explore more words! 🏞️ Yosemite National Park Happy 136th birthday to Yosemite National Park!
