I Want Your ThoughtsOn Relaunching going through the Bible verse by verse through a book of the Bible M-F
Ok, This was an incredible idea! And could just be the “written” consistency I’ve been looking for on this particular project--in community! I had a group of friends that started studying through the Bible 1 chapter at a time and then we share our notes. Got me back in the Gen1toRev22 mode. And I so miss and love that sweet labor for the Church. Would you be interested in studying through a book of the Bible M-F with me? I would send my expository thoughts and practical applications via the SOAP (Scripture Reading-Observations on the Context-Application to Life-Prayerful Reflection) method and all you would need is your Bible and a notebook and something to write with to grow in your own Expository Discipleship alongside me. Who I’m Looking for: People who want to go deeper into their Bibles, this isn’t for the folks who want to approach the Bible “what does this mean to me?” We’ll get practical as well but we are approaching scripture as the Literal truth of God and studying, endeavoring 2 Tim. 2:15. If you’re a bible study leader/bivocational pastor, this would be a great exercise to sharpen skills and build up your own outlines for teaching The Free for All Question (well not really you only have 66 choices! lol): Which book of the Bible would you like to do? (I have two in mind I’m likely going to pick from otherwise) I’d love your feedback! Drop it in the comments This is a really big project walking through the entire Bible M-F (I’ve mapped it out and divided the text into sections, it takes 7 years total when its’ completed). But how do you eat an elephant? One bite at a time :) I did a live video in the past which took a much larger investment of time and energy (all the way through Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, and part of Numbers are completed in that format and many up on the Spotify podcast as well) and notes on nearly 1/3 of the Bible books are in my files from my teaching and pastoring days.
