He walks from his home in Remington all the way to Camden Yards and Orioles games. I walked with him to Lexington Market and, another day, to Broadway Market. I've said this before and written about it: When you walk, you see and appreciate so much more — in Baltimore, the architecture, how people live, what's new, what's decrepit and what needs to be done. When you take a bus, you walk more, unless the bus stop is right in front of your home. And, of course, walking is good for you. A lot of people have become health walkers. My Sun column today (gift read at this link) is about walking. A lot of people got into this habit during the pandemic, and apparently they are still doing it, according to the CDC. I'm a little skeptical. I've seen a drop in walking since the pandemic. How about you? Comments welcome. | | | | You can also reply to this email to leave a comment. | | | | |
