DAHLGREN, Va. – The Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD) has announced scheduled range testing for July 30-31, which is expected to generate significant noise in areas surrounding the Naval Support Facility Dahlgren. Testing will occur from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on both days.
Residents near the facility are advised of potential loud noises that could affect the vicinity. Additionally, there will be restrictions in place for access to the Potomac River Middle Danger Zone as outlined in 33 CFR 334.230 during the testing period.
The NSWCDD emphasizes that the testing schedule is subject to change. Community members and interested parties are encouraged to stay informed by checking daily updates.
