Being strong advocates for shuttles and quick sessions, Nic and I often find ourselves defaulting to bike parks to hone in on our downhill skills.
At the end of last season, a local ski resort, Solitude, opened up a new bike park to make use of their lifts during the off season. In this week's YouTube video, Nic and I explore some of their new trails:
Mother Lode: A 2.5 mile flowy green circle perfect for beginner downhill bikers and beyond
Cobalt Cruiser: A cruise-y blue square with a variety of rollers and jumps
Quicksilver: A flowy jump blue square trail with fun berms
Mine Shaft: A technical blue square with tight switchbacks and chunky rocks
Holy Schist: A steep black diamond tech trail peppered with rock roll overs
Follow along to take a peek at some of our favorite parts of the trails, as well as some notable geology facts.
Thanks so much to Solitude Mountain for having us out to test out the new trails, and we are looking forward to a summer filled with downhill laps!
