I wrote this post out of the sheer frustration of receiving yesterday alone over 10 phone calls from Gabby Giffords' gun PAC!
You can pull up the other post which is embedded here which includes recordings of when I called these people back to basically say, why am I still on your list for calls? I have also embedded all the recordings again here because I am that pissed off that I got one of these calls on a Sunday morning no less.
It's like how many times do you have to ask people to put you on a do not call list before they get it? And I was fairly polite up until the last phone call last night because I was just frustrated when you spend time on the phone with someone being polite and saying to them I don't want these calls I do not give financial donations or support to campaigns or packs or candidates or parties etc. and they say yes they understand or this is just a glitch and yet?
10:48 AM on a Sunday morning of all days and Giffords' PAC is still calling? And to add insult to injury today when I called the number back to say hey hi it's me. I've now called you back several times and said please lose my number. What did they do? Are they blocked my number from contacting them. (Please see the last video at the very bottom of this post.)
Seriously. They blocked my number because they're tired of hearing from me that I don't want the calls yet they can still call me? That's a very screwed up FCC universe we live in.
So Gabby Giffords, your PAC needs to fund raise another way. And oh, by the way, I am going to shop this around with the media because I am sure someone will be interested in this.
And why am I doing this?
Again because the rules of engagement are important and we're heading right smack dab into probably the nastiest election season most of us will ever experience in a lifetime and we're all wondering if January 6 will happen again and we can do without the Sunday aggravation.
I will also note as I am finishing this post I've just received a second call from these people. Enough is enough. Take their damn phones away
