Sorry this Missouri River walleye report is a day late, but I've been traveling to get my boat wrapped down in Minnesota, so I've been burning the midnight oil. I am super excited to reveal the new look for Mike Peluso Outdoors & Guide Service.
Anyway, my days are numbered here on the Missouri River, unfortunately. Only three more guide trips left this week, and I'm off to Devils Lake and Lake Sakakawea for summer, but I'll keep providing the latest and greatest from those two powerhouse walleye fisheries all season long!
What's happening on the river to wrap things up? My advice: get the kiddos out A.S.A.P! The male walleyes especially are biting extremely well on pretty much anything you want to throw at them. You can get kids super excited about fishing right now and that's what it is all about!
Like I mentioned earlier I'll be starting on Devils Lake next week so expect the fishing reports to change to up there for a few weeks before switching over to Sakakawea later in the summer, though. I do get sone crossover reports as I bounce between the two later in the season.
I have some dates in August and it's never too early to start thinking fall trips for walleyes on the Missouri River as those filled up extremely fast last autumn. Stay tuned to my social media pages for that information and as I am super excited to release my new partnership details!
