ST. MARY'S COLLEGE, Md. – The St. Mary's College men's lacrosse team faced a challenging non-conference game Tuesday night, ending in a 10-8 defeat to the University of Mary Washington. The game, held on April 23, saw the St. Mary's Seahawks struggle to maintain their early lead against the determined Eagles.
The match commenced with a goal from Mary Washington's Jackson Popeck, quickly countered by a 6-0 run from St. Mary's, securing a significant lead by the end of the first quarter. Despite the strong start, the Seahawks' advantage was whittled down by the Eagles, with the score standing at 7-4 in favor of St. Mary's by halftime.
