So, here it is a Monday morning and a brand new month to boot. I imagine all those April Fool's Day folks are having a good day, pranking and enjoying themselves. I don't run into them much anymore since I spend so much time at home and with family. We don't play pranks on one another, never seemed to be interested in it in my family or Brad's. Anyway, have a wonderful April 1st, ya'll. Hope the weather cooperates for your plans.
David is working like a Trojan on the farm and around their house. The two older boys are old enough to be of some help and they love spending time with their dad. It's good to see them all thriving and happy. Brad got a lot more done with the clean up at his sister's old house and a guy he knows from church put us onto a company in our area who will drop off a trash dumpster for a few days so the guys can load it with old furniture and trash from around the house and the cost is very reasonable. That will save them from having to haul it in smaller loads themselves and drive all the way to the landfill each time. Progress is being made and it's a good feeling.
The mowers made it out and now it's all neat and tidy at our place. I don't envy them this time of the year with back to back jobs, playing catch-up and dealing with early, fast growing grass and weeds. They do such a great job including weed-eating around all the trees, the house and the shop and then blowing the clippings away from the house and driveway.
I'm having more problems with seasonal allergies this year for some reason. The cedar pollen has been affecting me and now the smell of fresh cut grass has my head all stuffy. I need to make sure I get my daily vitamin supplements and don't forget to take the turmeric tablets. It not only helps with the inflammation in my joints it helps calm my sinuses down as well.
We need to take a shopping trip to Sam's soon and stock up on meat for the freezer among other things. We keep a good supply of paper products on hand so we don't run out and I want to go by Green Market and see what they have in the way of condensed soup that is non-GMO. I'm done with Campbell's. It wouldn't hurt to see what Sam's has to offer in the way of canned stuff as well. I am hunting for a reliable source of Pacific brand canned, condensed soup and I might get lucky and find some at Sam's.
It's time to get the coffee on and have some breakfast before we plan our day. I'm in the mood for eggs and English muffins and maybe some yogurt as well.
Hope your Monday is a good one. Stay safe. Stay cozy. God bless, ya'll.
