Boost your immunity with this Super Greens smoothie which tastes as good as it looks

Normally, the thought of a Super Greens smoothie would have me running for the hills. While I love a smoothie, the green ones packed with spinach and chlorella have never been my favourites. I usually go for the sweeter berry blends or tropical concoctions packed with pineapple instead. But then Cytoplan sent me something to change my mind...

I've worked with Cytoplan on a few different articles now so they kindly send me a little goodie box to help kick-start my new year.

I opened it to find the most helpful little Guide to Choosing the Right Health Supplements, along with a handy travel pill box (which I've been meaning to get for ages).

Inside the box there were also two of Cytoplan's newest products: Gymnema Sylvestre supplements - an ancient herb used for nearly 2,000 years to help manage sugar cravings and balance blood sugar levels - and Organic Super Greens + Immunity.

Although I don't need help to curb sugar cravings, it would have been rude not to give the Super Greens a go.

So I did. I needed all the help I could get to fight off yet another winter lurgy - one of the 'perks' of having young kids.

My recipe:

1x banana
1x kiwi fruit
Handful of raspberries
350ml milk - this can be either cow's milk or plant-based
1 tbsp honey - I used Honey Heaven's Natural Organic Lavender Honey
1 tsp Super Greens + Immunity
Few drops of CBD - I used Mindful Extracts Full Spectrum

I was really pleasantly surprised. Blown away, in fact. Finally, a Super Greens 'shake' that tasted good and not powdery at all.

I could get on board with this new hue.

The benefits
