My to do lists are filled with chores and errands and appointments. What if our to do lists were filled with things like:
drink coffee or tea from favorite cup in favorite place maybe with a good book
take a walk without ear buds or headphones or any device at all so we just are, there in nature hearing the sounds, seeing the sights, being part of it all
trip down memory lane and call someone you haven't talked to in a long time
spend time alone without distractions, meditation gets easier the more you do it
draw on the sidewalk with chalk
browse the stacks in the library
visit a used book store or second hand shop
eat scrambled eggs off the fancy plates
watch an ant or ladybug or roly poly for a few minutes
watch an old black and white movie with popcorn, feet up and no guilt
I like that list. I think I'll add it to my planner 🙂
