Happy New Year folks,
A couple of bracing haiku for early January...
Steadfast
Wind-worn coping stones,
Stacked batters, wedged pinnings and
Steadfast throughstones. Still.
Slate
Crisp, frosted fronds,
Pure amidst the rutted tracks,
Beneath the slate skies.
