If you had a freeway billboard, what would it say?
Wow, another challenging prompt for day six of "bloganuary."
If I was fortunate enough to come into possession of a freeway billboard and could place it strategically along Highway 104(The TransCanada) near Halifax, Nova Scotia, I would have a message along these lines on it. And of course, it wouldn't be a static picture or billboard, it would have to be high-definition with moving graphics and lights. Go big or go home.
Anyways - the message would be to "practice the art of noticing"
To slow down in our lives and to "practice noticing." What is around us?; what have we been missing?; what joys and pleasure are found in the mundane?; take a breath and live in the moment.
Something along those lines.
We rush through life, going from from thing to the next. We fill every waking moment with work and "stuff" and all the while when we're barreling through the days; weeks and months........... we forget to live life.
Life and all the beauty and wonder it contains - we miss it all........ everything.
Slow down and practice the art of noticing.
--as always with love--
--- get outdoors; find inspiration; discover yourself ---
