Late last month, the members of the Yolo County Association of Realtors donated $5,000 to the local non-profit All Leaders Must Serve.
All Leaders Must Serve, or ALMS, is a local mentor organization that empowers young adults ages 15-25 through job readiness training to become self-sufficient, prepare for a living wage job, and give back to the community.
According to a local press release, this year, the Realtors members and the Affiliate Business Partners of the Yolo County Association of Realtors worked together to host various fundraising events held in Davis and in Woodland, which allowed the members to contribute this sum toward the charity.
The Realtors have a value statement to "Feed, Clothe and House the residents of Yolo County."
This year's fundraising efforts helped to boost the projects and outreach for All Leaders Must Serve as they expand to provide services beyond Woodland. The Yolo County Association of Realtors, or Yolo A.R., is a professional organization representing licensed real estate agents and brokers in Yolo County, along with business partners within the industry.
The purpose of the Yolo County Association of Realtors is to provide additional programs and services that enhance the competency, professionalism, and productivity of its members.
