I completely forgot last week's update and have been a bit slack with sharing this past week. I just seem to have run out of time for things, not sure why just one of those weeks.
December is here and so is the weather, a sudden drop in temp saw us have some frosty mornings, but we managed to avoid the snow in our little part of Cornwall. I am still swimming and even though it is cold I am still loving it. As I am part of a group it makes it more sociable and we have good laugh, no more so than at our Christmas get together.
Here are the books from the last two weeks...
The Ice Angel by Misha Herwin - this is a fabulous story in the Letty Parker series and you can read my full review HERE
Atoned by Steve J. McHugh - this is the first book in the series and it is a crime thriller and detective genre but with a science fiction setting and it is brilliant. Full review as part of the Blog Tour tomorrow.
A Time to Die by Wilbur Smith - this is a brilliant book in the series and I reviewed it last week . Full review HERE
The Bad Boy by Gillian Godden - this is part of the Lambrianu series and the first one I have read and it works great as a standalone. Full review later this week as part of the Blog Tour.
Calico by Lee Goldburg - this is a timeslip police procedural and historical fiction mystery story. It is the first time I have read a book by this author and I will be looking at more. Full review later this week.
Have a great week ahead,
Take care
Yvonne xx
