Twitter or now known as (X) is the highly active social media platform used by many individuals for a decade now, but with the recent name change of the platform, it can lead to various issues. As reported by Forbes.com, the X name can bring various way to trick individuals with the X name, phishing attack emails sent to the user such as fake X safety team emails, information on X, etc. Since its recent change, many new users will have to look up the "X" name which can lead to user to copycat sites, as a way of obtaining people's information. Linking tweets to another platform or as they are now known as "post", don't work anymore. Linking a post is completely broken at the moment due to sudden URL domain change from Twitter.com to X.com. The name "X" has of course led to issues of it being similar to adult websites in its name, and the chances of it being misspelled or adding more word will bring up with various searches. Lastly, it's been at least two months since the platform's new name has been placed, and as of now, many individuals still consider calling it Twitter instead of X, many users aren't appealed by its new name and many users are left with this unknown impression on what the platform should be considered to be known as, especially with businesses and advertisers. We still call it Twitter and it won't be changing anytime soon, but assuming at some point, various users, marketers, and society as a whole will have to get used to it eventually and its name will be platformed everywhere in media.
