It's been a few years since Canyon updated their beloved Endurace model. Back in 2020, I had the opportunity to ride the Canyon Endurace CF SL8 Di2 and found it to be a capable, responsive endurance bike that was easy to get along with. It had a great mix of comfort and performance and still holds a few climbing PR's on some of my most-ridden ascents. Now, for 2024, the all-new Canyon Endurace is stepping up and into the endurance category with a mix of comfort, modern tire clearance, aerodynamic shapes and continues with a healthy dose of performance. Whether you're looking at the high-zoot CFR layup or the still light CF SLX layup, the all-new 2024 Endurace has all the trappings for an all-around winner for the masses.
Today's top endurance bikes are no slouches. Take the Gen 4 Trek Domane SLR 9, for example. It blew me away by the perfect combination of comfort and performance. While the new Endurace doesn't have quite as big of tire clearance, 35mm is nothing to scoff at and should be the standard for all road bikes these days, in my opinion.
