These days I come with strings attached lol. Strings from ripping sheets and painted pieces of reclaimed cloth into strips and weaving into bowls/baskets and rugs. I think I leave a trail wherever I go of wayward strings. If you see a path of strings in Walmart, that was me. I don't throw away the strings though I save them in a glass jar and use them in the beads/charms I'm making. I'm working a Route 66 hooked rug too. I just can't contain the creative flow. It has spilled out everywhere all over the studio. There's dishes of buttons and beads and jars of strings and strips of cloth on the fainting sofa and coffee table. There's paints and dyes and inks and watercolor embroideries waiting. I'm almost on creative overload and I love it. Today is yard sale day which is treasure hunting for me, on the look out for sheets, pillowcases, buttons, beads, and whatever else I can utilize in my textiles. See you tomorrow.
