Newsletter
Greetings!
This is the new and revamped edition of the Conservation and Science newsletter. You have received it because you are subscribed to notifications from Tommy's Outdoors: Conservation and Science on WordPress.com
You will get this newsletter two to three times a month. It will notify you about new podcast episodes, offer a first look at new blog articles, and provide links to scientific papers that complement the subjects we discuss in a particular podcast episode or blog post.
"We talk about biodiversity, conservation, hunting and fishing, rewilding and more."
Since I don't have control over your notifications settings on WordPress, you might want to review them here to avoid receiving redundant emails.
First look: Animal Welfare and the Environment: Is Meat Consumption Still Possible?
To enhance the welcome, here is an opportunity to take a first look at the expanded version of an article that I wrote based on my experience as one of the panellists during the Environmental Debate Live and Unscripted, which was held last April at the Bothy Vineyard in Oxfordshire. The panel discussion was titled: "Is it possible to continue consuming meat while taking care of the environment, being self-sufficient and having ethical and animal welfare issues at the forefront of your mind?" And as I learned after the fact, the organisers were "a bit worried" about me given the views I shared and the audience attracted to the event.
I would love to hear your thoughts on this subject, so why don't you just hit the reply button and email me directly?
PS
Replying would also help to ensure that future issues of this newsletter won't end up in your spam folder!
