The Menagerie Oddities Markets will celebrate the third Annual World Goth Day at the Empress Theatre Saturday with an eclectic festival The Latina-owned business has an audience that embraces an individual's wild state -- even referring to its audiences as "awesomely awe-inspiring, anomalously aberrant, distinctively divergent and deviant."
Menagerie Oddities Markets founders Connstance and Michael Garcia believe the festival will be a "highly curated, immersive, innovative, and full sensory, multi-interdimensional and experiential festival gala of transcendent dark art, music, entertainment and black pageantry that delves into and passionately explores over 40-years of influential and incomparable San Francisco Bay Area Goth Subculture."

Event planner Irma "Lady Lurid" Harris decided that as a goth member, it was incumbent on her to be involved with the goth festival.
There will be art of many forms sold at the festival. The Menagerie Oddities Markets wants audiences to understand, "This Ain't Yer Grannies Craft Fair." Dozens of different types of artists will be in attendance.
"Connstance and Michael are very particular about the quality of work of artists that she brings in. It's not flea market stuff. Their artistry is their livelihood," said Harris.
Some of the available to purchase items are purveyors of eccentrically and esoterically Gothic baubles, trinkets, ornaments, novelties, knickknacks, and ephemera, such as elegant jewelry, clothing, accessories, photography, home decor, and so much more.
Britain's Ausgang, Black Angel, Ms. Boan, and Unwoman are the live musical guests.

Additionally, there will be seven local and international DJs. There will also be a fashion show hosted by drag performer Redd FaFilth.
"We are inclusive of everyone because we understand what it's like to be looked at just because you dress a certain way," Harris said. "Also, because you look a certain way for people's attitudes to completely change. We understand that concept. We try to be inclusive of the different diversities. We are an aware, very welcoming community. We have a safe space for everyone, sure, come in, come and share with us what you have to share with us."
There are different admission prices for the event. The Art Market Only Admission is $10 and the art market runs from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
A concert only in advance price is $50, while the concert only at the door price is $60.
A VIP Festival Day ticket is $75. This includes the art market admission and priority concert entry as well as a concert T-Shirt.
