A 4.4 magnitude earthquake centered near Cobb in Lake County struck about 10:40 p.m. Tuesday, the U.S. Geological Survey reported.
Few people in Ukiah reported feeling the quake to the USGS, but nearly 50 people in Kelseyville, as well as 19 people each in Middletown and Healdsburg reported feeling it.
One of the Healdsburg residents reporting on the quake was State Sen. Mike McGuire, (D-Healdsburg), who wrote this on Twitter afterward: "Pretty good shaker in Lake County tonight."
Only two Ukiah residents reported to the USGS that they felt the quake, and at least one Ukiah woman said she received an alert on her phone warning about the quake.
It is unknown if any damage or injuries occurred as a result of the quake.
