Caltrans will close one lane of southbound Interstate 680 (I-680) near the Gold Hill Road exit near Fairfield starting from 5 p.m. to 5 a.m. on Monday and running through Saturday, April 15.
Caltrans will implement another lane closure on southbound I-680 on Monday, April 17 to Thursday April 20, also from 5 p.m. to 5 a.m.
Crews will continue to perform slide repair work along the right slope of I-680 which suffered storm damage during the past weeks. Work is weather permitting.
More lanes closures may be necessary in the near future as the repair project progresses. Caltrans will keep the public apprised of upcoming lane closures as information becomes available.
