Over here at the "old homestead" here, there hasn't been really much new happening that is terribly earth-shattering over the past week or so.
In fact, motivation, or more so the inspiration to create a blog post or two fell to the side over the last week. But, as we all know, the blogosphere and your place in it, can spin like that from time to time. And when it does(for those like myself) the point is not to beat ourselves up just because you haven't posted for a few days or a week.
That elusive motivation and inspiration part of blogging has always popped back up in the past. No reason to think it won't again.
On the weekend though and Saturday to be specific, Lynn and I went on a beach/ocean shore hike with a group called "The Moncton Outdoor Enthusiasts." They're a hiking and outdoor adventure group from Moncton, NB. We were lucky enough to be invited to join them through mutual friends. Our 8km hike was followed by lunch at a maple syrup-producing farm/restaurant just north of where we live. It ended up being a wonderful Saturday spent with some great folks.
Today, we're off in a few hours on a road trip to Halifax.
We have some items to return to a store; an excursion to enquire whether we can update our MacBook Air or should be spring for a new one; plus a couple of other spots we need to go and hopefully a chance to connect with our daughter. Not terribly exciting, but necessary I guess.
Yup, not much new here along the Bay of Fundy. Spring certainly feels like it is hiding just around the corner. The temperature this week is forecasted to be above 0 degrees C, which is very exciting.
Perhaps between now and tomorrow, I'll get a cup of inspiration that will lead to something slightly more exciting than this post.
