A Ukiah man was recently arrested for illegal possession of drugs and a weapon, the Mendocino County Sheriff's Office reported.
According to the MCSO, deputies patrolling on Brush Street in Ukiah around 1:40 a.m. on Dec. 23 spotted a Ukiah man they recognized as reportedly having an active arrest warrant and a suspended driver's license.
Before deputies initiated a traffic stop, the driver, identified as Kevin Worley, 30, of Ukiah, stopped the vehicle he was driving in the 300 block of East Gobbi Street.
The deputies then contacted and detained Worley, who was also reportedly found to be in possession of what was suspected to be methamphetamine and fentanyl, as well as a concealed dirk or dagger.
Worley was arrested on suspicion of possessing controlled substances and an illegal dirk or dagger, driving on a suspended driver's license, and for an existing arrest warrant. He was booked into Mendocino County Jail, with bail set at $18,500.
