I am working on some donation quilts that didn't quite get finished. They will be needed next year, so during the holidays I have been finishing up what I can. Come January, I'll bring my sewing machine in for a cleaning. While it is gone, I may put up my old machine and do some piecing, depending on deadlines, or I may try to rearrange the piles so that I have projects that don't require much thought that I can grab when my little gray cells refuse to work. Giving my brain time to adjust between projects is essential, especially as I have a couple of art quilt ideas that need time to cook. There's one idea that could feed into a story that's been sitting around waiting for the right time, all about squirrels taking over the world with the help of robots. I guess that gives you an idea of where I think 2023 is heading, yes?
