Things to Do Near Minneapolis and St. Paul This Weekend
Gambling has gone completely to the dogs! The MN Lottery is hosting the Sascratch Brewery Series this Thursday and there's lots of pupportunities to win big. Get your paws on a free game and prizes, along with a free drawing for pup's chance to win $50 in scratch tickets and a lottery prize pack. Come thirsty bc Sociable serves up some dang tasty ciders. Talk about raising the woof on a Thursday!
Here's a fun way to get those zoomies out! Everyone has their own reasons for running—the folks at the MN Brewery Run do it for beer. Leash up your jogging buddy and head to Bad Weather Brewing for a 5k or 10k fun run that starts and ends at the taproom. Complete the course as fast or slow as you please, then celebrate with a free local craft brew at the finish line.
Floof knows a good time when she sees it, so she's gonna ruv hanging out in this dog-friendly brewery. Pounce up north to Anoka for a brewski at this pup-friendly taproom while the band jams out. A good time with good tunes? Pup yeah! Pro tip: Order pub food from the next door joint, J.D. McGillicuddy's, which is delivered for free to the brewery.
Calling all pups who ruv a good Sunday Funday! Kölsch Service at Dual Citizen means that you don't even have to lift a paw to enjoy the festivities. When your glass is empty, simply stay seated and their dog-loving staff will replace it with a full one and leave a mark on your coaster to keep track of your tab. Once you've had your fill, place your coaster on top of your glass to signal to the team that you're all done. Woofers are welcome on the patio and inside the taproom.
Don't want the weekend shenanigans to stop quite yet? Bring your furry brewery bestie to Saint Paul Brewing to try your paw at trivia. This weekly event is hosted by Trivia Mafia and promises to deliver "bad jokes, delicious pizza, and some fantastic trivia." Sounds like a barking good time to us! Floof is welcome inside the taproom or on the heated patio.
