What Are Watercolour Markers?

As the name suggests, these markers are made of water-based ink that can be diluted with water. The best of all is that these markers can help you recreate the appearance and texture of watercolour paint which is why they've become artists' best friends. These markers for artists are buildable and blendable which allows you to blend and build them with other types of markers, but also with water and brush as well. If choosing the ones that have brush tips that mimic the feeling of a real watercolour brush, you can literally use them to create different strokes while colouring or painting. They are so versatile, that you can use them even in your calligraphy projects. Regarding their use, it's said that they can be used for dry line drawing and sketching but also for colouring. When used for colouring, you should add water to soften the stroke marks, so you could be able to create a flat and blended area.
