Italy is known not only for its cuisine, culture, and art but it is also known for its numerous hiking opportunities, which are ideal for exploring the country's gorgeous natural landscapes.

Spring and early autumn are the ideal times to visit, with mountain routes in the north part and volcano climb in Sicily. Here's my list of some of the best hiking trails in Italy.

Cinque Terre, Liguria

Cinque Terre is a well-known seaside location in Liguria, on Italy's west side coast.

The ideal structures, crystal seas, and magnificent views of the five oceanside fishing communities set on the rocks in pastel colors seem precisely like the photos: idyllic structures, clear waters, and spectacular views.

Hiking the Sentiero Azzurro (blue trail). It goes from Monterosso to Corniglia, passing through charming hamlets. Enjoy the view and appreciate the coastal panorama, which is the ideal way to see all five.

Tre Cime di Lavaredo, Dolomites

When it concerns hiking in Italy, nothing rivals the Dolomites. These magnificent peaks are far less traveled than the Swiss or French Alps.

Cloud-scraping mountains, picturesque lakes, limestone summits, and virgin woods are all present.

The Tre Cime di Lavaredo circuit in the Parco Naturale delle Dolomiti di Sesto is one of the greatest in the area. Remember to bring your camera because the mountain range is really beautiful.

Selvaggio Blu, Sardinia

Sardinia is among the most gorgeous Mediterranean islands. The Selvaggio Blu (Wild Blue) hiking track is only advised for people with climbing expertise

It weaves the mountains by the Gulf of Orosei on Sardinia's east coast. Travel over one of Italy's wildest, most remote coastlines, along with spectacular canyons, rocks, greenery, and sea views.

Monte Bianco and Monte Rosa, Aosta Valley

Monte Bianco and Monte Rosa are among the magnificent mountains of Valle d'Aosta, which borders France and Switzerland.

The word 'rosa' (meaning pink) comes from the local term used for glaciers, rouése, and has nothing to do with the color.

The highest peak in the Alps, Monte Bianco (Mont Blanc), is well-known around the world.

The 'White Mountain' tour begins at Courmayeur, at the foot of the mountain. It is regarded as one of Europe's classic trails.

Sicily

Sicily is a fantastic place to go hiking.

If you don't feel like taking the boat to Stromboli, climbing Mount Etna's steep parts, the Madonie and Nebrodi Mountains, is a wonderful option.

Both have park routes that go through them, making them ideal for hikers who enjoy forest routes. The Vendicari Nature Reserve, which stretches along the shore and is quite level, is one of the most beautiful in the country.

In addition to its lovely pathways, the Pantalica Gorge is an archaeological site.

So, you can learn a lot of things while exercising, isn't it perfect?

Corno Grande, Abruzzo

Corno Grande is the tallest peak in the Apennines. It dominates the rocky scenery of the Parco Nazionale del Gran Sasso, one of Italy's biggest national reserves.

Abruzzo may not be the most popular Italian vacation site, but it is home to genuine gems like its mountain.

The Via Normale offers panoramic views of the mountainside and Adriatic, as well as views of Europe's southernmost glaciers, the Calderone.
