Sustainability is on top of everything. Brands have been making a big effort on making their products more sustainable, by changing their materials and their ways of production. This eco-friendly concept has reached all kinds of brands, in all sectors.

We have already showed you sustainable fashion brands, but now it is time to talk about sustainable decor brands. These brands besides being stylish, and giving an aesthetic look to your house, they are also good for the environment.

Tom Hagen

Tom Hagen is a photographer and designer from Germany, His work focuses on aerial photography. He photographs landscapes that were heavily transformed by Men.

As a true artist, he tries to show more beyond the obvious. It is not only a landscape photo, it is how Men try to be and mark that presence in natural scenarios. It is the (sometimes hard) relationship between humans and Earth.

Hagen's work is magnificent but also it serves to sensitize the viewer to the human impacts on the planet. He hopes to create a common and open discussion on this subject.

Kaffee Form

Some people see beauty in things that most don't. It is the case of this brand, Kaffee Form. The main goal of this brand is to transform "renewable resources destined for the trash into beautiful, functional everyday objects". Just by this description, we immediately fell in love.

The brand was founded in 2015, in Berlin. One of the brand's principles is the circular economy and they used it in their products. They developed a sustainable material with renewable resources, like coffee grounds, that are biodegradable and can be transformed into the most beautiful and unique products.

The brand has the most incredible coffee cups we have ever seen that are made with leftovers from coffee machines. Although the lightness of the cups, they are very resistant and durable. Here you can be certain about one thing: your coffee cup is unique. That happens due to the special appearance of the marbled surface of the material that resembles wood.

P.s- your coffee cup comes with a light coffee aroma. So, can this cup be more special?

Tip Toe

Tip Toe was born in 2015 due to a crowd funding campaign arranged by Matthieu and Vincent. This brand sells furnishings that are changing the type of furniture that most people buy. Besides having high quality, they are made in European factories that value all the worker rights and use sustainable production ways.

One thing (among numerous) that makes the products of this brand so special, is their versatility and their functionality.

Inspired by the modular table legs that Philippe Starck explored, they create an innovative design idea. The goal is that pieces can be disassembled and the costumer can do whatever they want with the metal legs and wall brackets. For example, you can buy only the legs and fit them in your own structure. Another thing is that if you have a damaged part, you can substitute only that part instead of the entire piece. This kind of feature is what makes this brand even more sustainable- it prevents consumption and excessive waste.
