Thanksgiving is the best time to reunite all the family and eat delicious food! Although this holiday is too much associated to be around the table all day long and eating, it is just not about that. It is about creating and reinforcing the family's relationship through different dynamics. These dynamics might be talking and sharing feelings, or through thanksgiving games.

Doing thanksgiving games is an excellent way to not only share and create moments together but also to entertain everyone.

If you think that these games are only for the kids, you are wrong. The games are from the youngest to the oldest, and we guarantee that everyone will get the same amount of fun.

Are you ready? 3, 2, 1... Go!

#1- Charades

Charades games make part of everybody's parties. It is the perfect game for those who like to be tested. You can play it alone or with teams.

Choose a word or a phrase related to thanksgiving like "turkey", "pumpkin" or "apple pie" and mimic that for the others try to guess the word/phrase. To increase the difficulty, you can put a 1-minute timer, and if nobody guesses the word, the point goes to you.

#3- Mad Libs

Some of the thanksgiving games are for passing time while you wait for dinner, and Mad Libs is our favorite. This game can bring some really loud laughs, but you will need the right amount of creativity for this one.

Everyone takes turns saying out loud random words, and one person is in charge of writing down those words. This last person, can not show the sheet to anyone. The goal is to create the funniest and random text ever.

You can find some printables here.

#4- Face Pie

This game is messy, but it will be worth it for the laughs. It is very simple to prepare: put some candy letters that form a word inside a dish, and cover it with whipped cream. The participants will have to find the letters on the plate and spell the word. All of this using only their heads!

#5- How Many?

"How Many" is a thanksgiving game that can last all night. Fill a glass jar with candy corn and place it in the center of the table. The goal is to try to guess how many candy corns are in the glass jar. Give your guests slips of paper and each one should write the number. Whoever says a number closest to the correct answer takes the jar home.
