I really am loving this tree. I think this is it's third year. Amazingly productive. Takes a lot of water to clean the berries but they are full of anthocyanins, so in my opinion, worth it! My husband and I were eating them by the handful tonight!
Plastic tarp under the tree.
Shook a lot of berries off today. I have two gallons of berries in the freezer at this point and it's still producing. I also missed a few times when I could have harvested but storms blew in and knocked them down.

The darker and softer they are: the sweeter. This is the most productive tree in my yard.
Mulberry stains. Anything with this much natural dye is full of good things for your body! You know the "eat the rainbow" fruit and vegetable recommendation? (My granny, and then my mom, always made sure we had two different colored vegetables at dinner.) This covers purple completely!
I'm super happy with this tree and really recommend it.
See you out in the garden for our fill of mulberries!
