MARY'S CITY, Md. – The St. Mary's College of Maryland men's lacrosse team continued their undefeated streak in the United East Conference, delivering a resounding 24-2 victory over Bryn Athyn College on Saturday afternoon. This win marks the team's second consecutive victory with a 24-goal margin, highlighting their dominance in the conference.
The Seahawks, now 9-3 for the season and 3-0 in UEC play, saw contributions from 18 players, each earning at least one point in the game. Conversely, Bryn Athyn College fell to 2-4 overall and 0-2 in the conference, struggling to find their footing against the Seahawks' onslaught.
The game was decisively one-sided from the beginning, with St. Mary's College securing a 15-0 lead by halftime. Sophomore attackman Joshua Martel was a standout, scoring five goals and assisting another in just the first half. His performance was supported by junior attackmen Keegan Preis and Aiden Doyle, who contributed significantly to the team's lead.
Despite Bryn Athyn managing to score two goals in the second half, thanks to Jamal White, the Seahawks' momentum was unstoppable. They finished the game strongly, with first-year players Declan Horton and Quinn McLaughlin sealing the victory with the final two goals.
