#Napowrimo #Yesterdaysprint
a poem by me from an article from Spring Lake Gazette, New Jersey, November 23, 1939, appearing on the Yesterdays print website
When i was little
they called them wiggly worms
slowly swimming
Now as i grew tall
they weren't worms at all
but still grabbed an eye
For at the line - end
sat a big fish and his friends
looking round the bend
And though pasta - not worms
seemed a nice enough dinner
they waited by end
(so they didn't get thinner)
