If you know someone looking for a job, here's some information from the Baltimore Mayor's Office about an upcoming event, a Baltimore City job fair to connect job seekers with a wide range of employment opportunities within local government, particularly historically hard-to-hire positions.
This event will take place on Thursday, April 25, 2024 from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. at the War Memorial Building, at 101 N. Gay Street.
Over 15 City agencies and quasi agencies will be in attendance to recruit for vacancies in over 100 job classifications. Job seekers will have the opportunity to network with hiring managers, submit resumes, and learn more about employment opportunities within city government. The hiring event is free for all job seekers to attend.
"Baltimore is Hiring. We want job seekers to know that the City of Baltimore has a strong overall employee value proposition. Not only do city jobs offer great pay and benefits, but our employees perform meaningful work that positively impacts the community at large," said Quinton Herbert, Director of the Department of Human Resources and the City's Chief Human Capital Officer.
