Stolen vehicle arrest: On March 22 at 10:40 a.m., officers responded to a traffic collision at the intersection of West Woodland Avenue and Maryland Avenue, where a 2013 Hyundai Sonata collided with a parked car. The Hyundai's occupants fled after the collision. Officers determined the Hyundai had been reported stolen on March 18, 2024. Witnesses pointed out the area where the driver and passenger fled. The driver was determined to be a 13-year-old female who was located near the Camerena Little League Field. The female was arrested, and released to their guardian with a notice to appear.
Assault with a deadly weapon: On March 22 at 11:50 a.m., staff from Fourth and Hope which is located on the 1900 block of East Beamer Street, reported Jonathan Dubois, a 43-year-old Woodland resident attempted to harm one of the staff members. Dubois kicked a chair at a victim and threw a wrench at another individual. As officers arrived, Dubois ran out into a field to the northwest of the location. Officers chased after Dubois, through waist-high reeds, feet of water, mud, and trenches. Dubois was eventually apprehended but continued to be uncooperative through the remainder of the contact. He was booked into the Yolo County Jail for assault with a deadly weapon and resisting/delaying officers.

HOST made 25 contacts and offered services to 13 individuals, one accepted. HOST tagged six camps and cleaned up six. HOST logged 11 downtown patrols this week.
