How to make your own cleaning spray using these 3 natural ingredients

This homemade cleaning spray will clean your cooker up a treat. It also works wonders on other surfaces, including showers, sinks and toilets and will leave your house smelling fresh without a hint of toxic chemicals

All you need are three affordable plant-based ingredients and a reusable spray bottle to create your own natural household cleaning spray.

Not only is this DIY cleaning spray family and pet friendly, but it's much kinder on the environment - and your wallet. It's clean in every sense of the word.

How to make your own non-toxic household cleaner

All you need are:

Bottle of Dr. Bronners All-One Magic Soap - I used lavender this time around but any scent will do (and there are plenty to choose from)
Bottle of tea tree essential oil - any quality brand will do
Tap water

Make sure your spray bottle is empty and clean, then fill with 1 litre of tap water. Carefully add 60ml (around 1/4 cup) of Dr. Bronner's pure castile liquid soap and 20 drops of tea tree essential oil. Swirl gently to mix - and that's it!

You've now got a powerful multi-purpose household cleaner without any of the nasties that come with chemical-laden brands and bleaches.

Mainstream sprays can be extremely toxic to human health - even causing hormone disruption and respiratory problems, lung inflammation and asthma.

But now you have your own natural cleaning spray which actually works and is amazing at cutting through grease.
