December 1st, cool, damp and rainy! Ugh!! Not how I was hoping December would be, but that is weather in Indiana for you. People honestly don't know how to dress.
Husband got admitted to the hospital Tuesday with Pneumonia? Bad, bad cough and elevated temperature. Beds are at a high premium and the emergency room is, was swamped. Everyone has been wonderful and trying very hard to deal with difficult situations.
Keep reminding myself of my pinkie promise to our daughter, Cindy about not buying new things and have been really trying not to.
Some of the time I really can't help myself and just have to purchase a goodie or two. Here is what I tell myself:
- Cost is very nominal
- It is something I can really use.
- I bought a course I am honestly going to use. Already 3/4 of the way done and not going to buy another one for a while.
- Many many things I say no to!
- Many Many things I say too expensive!
- Anyway, I am trying.
Hope you have a good December, and a very happy New Year. Thank you to my new followers. It is wonderful to have you. May we all continue to grow and learn together.
