| dawn Dec 9 | When I was a kid I had a book titled; The Sweet Smell of Christmas. It was a scratch-n-sniff book. I loved that book. I think I probably read it a hundred times a day every single day leading up to Christmas. Later I would read A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens. The Christmas I was pregnant with Sky I read it to him. I would go into the room that would be his to sit and read aloud to him convinced he could hear me from the womb. When Rainy was little she would read to me as I cooked and did clean up after meals. I loved those times of day. I love stacks of books every where all the time and at Christmas the books must have a mix of childhood classics, Rudolph The Red Nose Reindeer and 'Twas The Night Before Christmas. Life without books, I hate to think. | | | | You can also reply to this email to leave a comment. | | | | |
