COT: YHC read the following scripture this morning: "Look to the Lord and his strength; seek his face always." ‭‭1 Chronicles‬ ‭16‬:‭11‬ ‭

The scripture does not say look to His hand, but instead seek His face always. I find that I often ask God for what I want — seeking his hand — instead of truly seeking Him and asking that He work through me to accomplish His will — seeking His face in me. It reminds me that while all things are possible through God, they don't usually come to be as we think they might. God operates in His time and He sees the bigger picture. Keeping that in mind helps me to keep my faith and continue walking in His path. When things are not going according to your plans -- or prayers -- remember to seek His face and understand that there is a bigger plan in play.
