With any amount of good fortune, by the time you read this, I'll be on my way to the airport in Halifax to head back to Ontario for the "Celebration of Life" for Lynn's mom on Saturday.
It's hard to believe that we are at this point now. In terms of events(the only word I can think of), I would imagine this would be it.
Nevertheless, it's off we go this very early Friday morning.
Once in Toronto, I'll need to take the airport train downtown(Union Station) wait an hour or so, and get a Go Train north to where her Dad lives.
All of which should put me there around 1 p.m.
Although, a very early start from the "old homestead" at 4:00am, I am looking forward to the flight. We've flown with this particular airline a number of times and as such ended up getting a bonus discount code to apply.
With the discount applied, I ended up getting a business-class seat(with a ton of perks) for the price of an economy seat back in steerage(lol).
Lynn will be returning with me early next week. We plan to stay in Halifax for the night the day we arrive. Kind of the celebration of our anniversary we never had back in September.
Anyhow, time to finish my coffee and get ready to hit the road. Cheers!
