I went to a fun shoot out at the Mountainair range this past week. I didn't shoot well, but I did shoot a few targets. I didn't have a good way to measure the distance, so I didn't really score them. It was more about socializing with the other club members and having a good time.
On Friday, I went to another fun shoot, this one at Calibers. It was a bullseye shoot, meaning all of the red in a target had to be removed. There were three stages and I succeeded at none of them. One target only had a tiny piece of red left. The other two had too much red for my liking. One of them would have required perfect placement of 24 of 25 shots to be possible (with a .38).
I did some reloading this weekend as well. I loaded up my .38s and .357s, and have also developed a test load for 9mm to try in our various toys.
Thank you for reading my post.
