Clarksburg's Old Sugar Mill will hold its Sunshine, Yoga and Rosé event from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday at 35265 Willow Ave.
"Fresh air, sunshine and yoga," the event's website highlighted. "Followed a glass of Tickle Me Pink rosé wine – this crowd pleaser is from the Jana Collection at Scott Harvey Winery. Take a break in your week to release physical and mental tension through movement, camaraderie and a glass of rosé."
The yoga practice will last 50 minutes and be taught by instructor Laurie Dakin, who the website describes as a health coach, personal trainer and fitness entrepreneur.
"She believes, 'committing to be fit and healthy has helped me stay positive and successful,'" the website stated. "'I want to share that with the rest of the world.'"
The business suggests people bring their own yoga mat, towel, water bottles and yoga blocks or straps if they have them.

Killdeer Farms will be holding its "Out Painting in the Field" pick and paint event from 9 a.m. to noon Sunday featuring flower expert Christing Calvin and local artist Jenny Egbert of Palette Art Events at 4951 Jefferson Blvd. in West Sacramento. .
"Come sip mimosas while picking your own locally grown blooms and learn tips and tricks to create a beautiful unique bouquet," the event's website emphasized. "After, we will eat breakfast goodies and join local artist Jenny Egbert in a guided lesson to paint your bouquet. Each guest will take home a floral arrangement and their very own art piece."
The $95 event will feature strawberry mimosas, a farm tour, a pick-your-bouquet experience, locally inspired light brunch snacks and a two-hour guided outdoor painting class. All guests will be able to take home a bouquet, vase and painting of their bouquet.

Road Trip Bar & Grill's first annual ribs cook-off will take place from noon to 5 p.m. Saturday at 24989 CA-16 in Capay.
The event costs $30 for entry and gives guests access to unlimited ribs and a couple of sides, according to the event's flyer.
Twelve of the best barbeque pitmasters in the valley will be in attendance and local volunteer firefighters will be judging this year's competition.

Chico-based band Blü Egyptian will make their debut 3 p.m. Sunday at Blue Note Brewing located at 750 Dead Cat Alley in Woodland.
The band plays original music encompassing bluegrass, rock, funk, Latin and ska for the "ultimate dance party," according to the event's website.
"They have gained a reputation for their high energy shows with extended multi-genre jams, meaningful songwriting and entertaining stage antics," the website highlighted. "Since the release of their first album in 2021, they have been touring across Northern California, Oregon, Washington and Nevada."

West Sacramento's Rhythm on the River returns next Thursday, June 29 for a free all-ages and family-friendly concert event at Drake's: The Barn located at 985 Riverfront St.
"Check out the free children's activities in our family fun zone," the event's website encouraged. "Food and beverage will be available from Drake's and food trucks at the venue. Be sure to bring blankets and folding chairs to enjoy the show comfortably on the grass area. Outside food and beverages are not permitted at this event."
Elvis Cantú will open the show with his "very unique and wild sound" that the website describes as a mix of "a bit of rockabilly with some western swing, " jazz, country and swamp rock.
An intermission performance by Be Brave Bold Robot will follow and The Nickel Slots will close out the night with "a journey through hard times and desperation that always carries hope that better things are just around the corner."
The website noted that limited parking is available on the street and in parking lots but both require a fee. It also encouraged that residents utilize rideshare, West Sac VIA or bike to the event.
