Blue Note Brewing in Woodland has a packed calendar filled with local entertainment as a part of their Sunday Sessions Live Music Series this June.
Kicking things off are Dyana and The Cherry Kings. This high energy band is known for reinventing hits with a rock-a-billy spin. They also pay tribute to rock-and-roll legends of the 1950s such as Elvis Presley, Eddie Cochran and Wanda Jackson. Dyana and The Cherry Kings will be at Blue Note Brewing, located at 750 Dead Cat Alley from 3 to 6 p.m.
The following Saturday on June 10 will be the University of Rock Davis - Spring Finals from 5 to 8 p.m. and then on Sunday, Smokey Red will take the stage from 3 to 6 p.m. Founded in 2019 in Sacramento, Smokey Red performances consist of rock and roll, blues, funk, americana, original compositions and cover tunes.
On June 17, Blue Note Brewing will be celebrating their eight year anniversary. Music will be provided by Possum (We Play Dead) from 4 to 8 p.m.
The Leapin' Blennies, a 50's style rock and roll band, will perform on June 18 from 3 to 6 p.m. The band is known for playing a combination of original songs plus all the classic favorites like Elvis, Buddy Holly, Gene Vincent and much more.
Rounding out June is Blu Egyptian. A youthful quartet based out of Chico, this West Coast indie jamband have gained a reputation for their meaningful songwriting, entertaining stage antics and their unique sound that is created through a fusion of funk, bluegrass, reggae, world music, rock, edm and more. Blu Egyptian will be at Blue Note Brewing from 3 to 6 p.m. on June 25.
All of these events are free to attend and dog friendly. All ages are welcome.
