Yesterday's hike was from Wycoller village - also known as Bronte country - over Lad Law. If you visit Wycoller you will immediately see where the inspiration for Wuthering Heights was born. Lad Law was a surprisingly beautiful climb. The inward half of the hike was through Trawden and that was a bit flat and fieldy, but it was the coda to a great climb. We saw a couple of deer and some gorgeous scenery. It was roughly 8.84 miles over 3.5 hours. Stunning views and glorious weather made this a hike to remember this summer. Photos below.
