I'm Guy Kawasaki, and this is Remarkable People. We're on a mission to make you remarkable.
Helping me in this episode is Uri Gneezy.
Uri is a professor of economics and strategic management at the School of Management at the University of California, San Diego. He has taught at the University of Chicago and Technion in the past. Uri is also the co-founder of Gneezy Consulting, a company specializing in behavioral economics.

Today, we'll discuss Uri's new book, Mixed Signals: How Incentives Really Work. In his book, Uri dives into effective and ethical incentives. This book is filled with great examples of incentive plans gone awry that will amuse and educate you.
My thanks to Katy Milkman, the next Bob Cialdini. When I got pitched to have Uri on the show, I asked her if I should, and Katy was adamant that I interview him. Over the course of the past two years, I've learned to do whatever Katy says.
So, without further ado, let's dive into our conversation with Uri Gneezy and learn more about the fascinating world of incentives and behavioral economics.
