I came across this graphic a few weeks ago and thought that it might be a dandy one to save and come back to at some future point in time. This morning it seems to have been a small and insignificant decision at that time, but a decent enough decision for March 23.
When desperately trying to come up when any type of idea for a post this morning, I found this buried in a folder of pictures, graphics, and other long-forgotten items but hopefully useful bits of information.
It transported me back to thinking about how much we put stock or value of who "we are" can be based on what others think "we are."
In addition, how many times do we get "all whigged out" by the thoughts and opinions of others when they don't mesh with "our thoughts and opinions."
Maybe it's just altogether easier(thus less work and focus on ourselves) to get our "underwear in a twist" over what others "think" than it is to get that same underwear untangled by the worry and fret over what, "we think."
Perhaps, and this is just "a perhaps," any energy you and I might spend on "what other people think" should be re-directed to working on what "we think." What we think about others; what we think about in terms of events; or most importantly what we think and view about ourselves.
Like the picture says, "I mean, have you seen other people? - They're awful."
