Diary of the journey on the path least traveled..just letting the heart do the talking while the fingers do the walking while being different, being me…
Hello Diary,
Stopping the world briefly to get off and share a few thoughts, don't have that much to say (is that cheering I hear???.. )… it is St. Patrick's Day here on the path so no matter who you are or wish to be, may I say;
And in wishing everyone, whoever and wherever you are, a St. Patrick's Day filled with peace, love and joy and I would like to share some Irish sayings for you… May the road rise to meet you May the wind be always at your back May the sun shine warm upon your face The rains fall soft upon your fields May green be the grass you walk on May blue be the skies above you May pure be the joys that surround you May true be the hearts that love you. (Irish Saying) May love and laughter light your days, and warm your heart and home. May good and faithful friends be yours, wherever you may roam. May peace and plenty bless your world with joy that long endures. May all life's passing seasons bring the best to you and yours! (Irish Saying) May flowers always line your path and sunshine light your way, May songbirds serenade your every step along the way, May a rainbow run beside you in a sky that's always blue, And may happiness fill your heart each day your whole life through. (Irish Saying) And one of mine… May the love that you give Always return to you, That family and friends are many And always remain true, May your mind only know peace No suffering or strife, May your heart only know love and happiness On your journey through life. (Larry "Dutch" Woller)
And while contemplating my tomorrows… As I gaze upon the horizon Where my Fate waits for me, My mind gently browses the past That which has become a memory. I grew up on a farm Ohhhhh, the dreams had I, To save the world from the evil dragons Once, as a ole Marine, I did try. I once loved and and lost Suffered a broken heart, they say, But now the heart has mended As love managed to find a way. With my hands I helped build a nation Now the back is tired and sore, But no white flag of surrender here With a heart of dreams to do much more. There were those by whom I were scorned As I ventured down life's highway, They ridiculed and condemned As I lived and loved life my way. Of the life I lived, I have few regrets Would not change a thing, I must confess, And I will continue to be me As I venture down the path of happiness. As my mortal clock starts to wind down One wonders, is there another life for me, Sadly, I must close, and seek out Fate For Fate has the answer, Fate is the key. (Larry "Dutch" Woller)
And as my mortal clock winds down, when it comes to singing I cannot carry a tune in a bucket, but before I leave this mortal world I would ..
And I shall close for now, my answers are on the horizon, so sails set full, ready to leave safe harbor..but I shall return again one day, Fate be willin' and the creeks don't rise.. Hope your path is paved with happiness on this day and every day and until we meet again.. Not just another day, my friend For in spite of time, distance or whatever, If only in spirit and thought We'll be sharing this day together. So, have a wonderful day, my friend Wishing you all the best, nothing less, May today, every day, AND your heart Be filled…...with love and happiness. (Larry "Dutch" Woller)
"Life is either a daring adventure or it is nothing." (Helen Keller) and "I'm not afraid of storms, for I'm learning how to sail my ship." (Louisa May Alcott) so with sails set full, bow pointed to the horizon, care to join me?...
